As we enter the last leg of this campaign- we are including a signed, Original sketch on one of ten business sized cards from images related to the exhibition. Each deck includes an original, signed sketch. This miniature portolio will be printed in full color on heavy weight stock.
Think of them as collectible trading cards, just without the gum. $20

STRETCH INCENTIVE: #5 ORIGINAL INK DRAWING ON 8 1/2” x 11” HEAVY-WEIGHT PAPER of “Ambition”. I intend to develop the “Ambition” character as a dimensional sculpture for the second exhibition in “The Spoils of Saint Hubris” series where he will play a large role in this developing narrative. These 10 ink drawings will be essential in the development of this important sculpture and will be chronicled through my blog, and offered as one color, limited edition prints when completed. This is your opportunity to own the original drawing that inspires the sculpture and prints. *Stretch rewards are not offered in combination with other reward levels.

KICKSTARTER UPDATE: Those of you who have backed at the $30 level may be interested in seeing the proofs of The Spoils of Saint Hubris poster. This open-edition poster is being printed in 3-colors on 100 lb paper and will be signed by the artists (me:).

Next up- we’ll be printing Limited (100) Edition versions of the the image, with a fourth color, on 140 pound paper, without the gallery information, suited for framing, signed and numbered. By request, I have put together the rough design of the “A Fruitless Endeavor” Limited (125) Edition Screen Print reward for my Kickstarter campaign. *The image shown is not the screen-print. Given it’s complexity, we are bumping up from 6 colors to 8. This is going to be a challenge to print and the final will deviate from the examples shown.
We will be printing with one spot metallic accent ink on 19” x 25” heavyweight French’s paper. Includes blind debossing. Signed and numbered by the artist. This reward incentive includes the folio and Limited Edition catalogue reward levels ($225 and $150). That’s a lot of Limited.

Sterling Hundley is a Richmond, VA-based illustrator and painter. A university art professor by day, Hundley’s work has won a heap of awards and been published in an array of magazines. His work (much of which is commissions) runs an interesting gamut from almost cubist-like forms to Mucha-esque women to a Edward Hopper-like painting technique, and at times has everything from a street art feel as well as odes to abstract expressionism. It may sound crazy but you really have to dig through his blog to see what we’re talking about. And, his work is not pastiche either- it’s actually really fresh stuff with very contemporary compositions and very interesting color palettes. We encourage you to follow his blog as he answers questions, shares works-in-progress, sketches and studies.
